Wednesday Wants

I thought I would create a post weekly showing you a few things I have stumbled across online that I really, REALLY want.  Most are out of my reach financially, or things I am desiring greatly at the moment, but nothing stops me lusting after them.

Union Jack Vintage Square Wall Clock

Love it. I love that so many things are coming out with varying design on British themes this year and this is one that I would love to have adorning my sitting room wall.  It’s actually only about £25 (approx.. $40) so I think it may have to be added to a wish list somewhere!

Asparagus

‘Tis the season at the moment and I truly believe that there is nothing better then freshly picked asparagus cooked perfectly and eaten on its own one by one.  I have had a little so far this year, and hope to have more, but right now I am craving it like nobody’s business!

Style

A colleague and I were recently talking about our lack of style (although I actually think she has some, she denies it).  I don’t have style – I wear clothes that fit and are comfortable and would love to have a better idea of the things that fit me .. and where to get them or how to make them. A project to work on I guess.

Paris

This signifies the travelling that I have been hankering after recently.  Reading great blogs like this and this don’t help of course, but my best friend Celia certainly made me even more jealous by telling me she is holidaying twice later in the year after already been once. Damn having no money.  Having said that, I recently discovered this gem which might help me do things a bit more for less money!

Shadow of Night

I read ‘A Discovery of Witches’ last year and LOVED it.  It was a really thick book and  I loved carrying it around and trying to snatch time to read a chapter wherever possible.  The second in the series comes out on the 10th July (according to Amazon) and I cannot wait.  I decide not to pre-order it but will put a reminder in my phone so I can get started as soon as possible!
